License Test 1 - This test is extremely easy. All the rally events are easy because the times are lenient. This test is pretty self-explanatory, steer and try not to spin out, which with a 4WD is almost impossible.
License Test 2 - Refer to License Test 1 directions.
License Test 3 - The car used in this race will oversteer easily. Opposite directions are applied in this case. At the moment at which you feel your car slipping, accelerate.
License Test 4 - You need to use extreme caution on this course, mainly because the car is crap. All Mid-Engine cars including the one in this race, have a tendency to steer like you're on ice. When you start a spin-out let off the X button completely and steer through it, then accelerate again when you have gained control again.
License Test 5 - The Mustang masters the art of the powerslide, so use it to the best of your ability. Slow down your entry speed of the first turn because the Mustang likes to go up to the top of the course.
License Test 6 - You have to know how to control the accelerator when driving through the open spaces in this slalom. Don't try to smash through the blocks because you will likely lose control, time, or both.
License Test 7 - If you start out taking the first turn too fast, you will slide off the track and fail. You need to control the weight of the car by shifting it to where it needs to be(as in STRAIGHT) and go full speed to the finish line.
License Test 8 - The key to this track is keeping from hitting the tips of the slalom obstacles with the front of your car. Instead of going full speed and trying to barely elude the slalom obstacles, take your time and keep your car under control.
License Test 9 - This car slides ALL OVER the track, so it's hard to get it through the chicane while retaining a lot of speed. The best option in a situation like this is to get the best angle going into the chicane and kind of take if from there.
License Test 10 - I hate this turn so much. After you fail it for about the 50th time you start to wish the guy who even thought up this course had never been born. Anyway, to master this turn you have to drive like a grandma around the seemingly impossible turn.(about 40+ mph) Anything faster will send you to the fail category. Note: Don't feel bad if you can't get this on the first try. I didn't get this turn completed for about five hours in which that's all I did was sit in front of the TV and throw objects across the room. I actually broke a Dual Shock controller on this one by throwing it across the room, so rage caused by Laguna Seca can be dangerous. CAUTION
